Worcester Reads

Worcester Reads is a project that provides opportunity for busy students to connect with each other, the faculty and the College Community in a way other than dashing from class to car.

This Fall semester presents the sixth reading selection, two each academic year, that we recommend as enjoyment and edification to graduate and post-baccalaureate students enrolled at the College.

This semester’s selection is Juan Enriquez’ "As the Future Catches You-How Genomes and Other Forces are Changing your Life, Work, Health and Wealth". This book is available online and in our College and other bookstores at a reasonable price. Dr. Enriquez has a career that spans business, domestic and international politics and science. He was the founding director of the Life Sciences Project at Harvard Business School and a fellow at Harvard’s Center for International Affairs. He has appeared on 60 Minutes and has published his work in Harvard Business Review, Forecign Policy, Science, and the New York times. His new book is "The Untied State of America".

Along with and supporting this "good read" are several other intellectual engagement and connection opportunities. All events are free and open to the public and will be announced early in the fall semester.
