The Graduate School
Graduate education is both exciting and challenging. At the graduate level students begin to focus explicitly on a single discipline or professional program, and are expected to attain a level of knowledge in their field whereby they are considered masters in it. Those students pursuing a practice-oriented master’s degree demonstrate mastery through a project, a practicum, or an internship. Classes are conveniently offered during evening and summer times. Assistantships are available for select students. To inquire about admission, please contact Nicky Brown at 508.929.8787 or at nbrown@worcester.edu.
The Center for Business and Industry
All training programs delivered by the Center for Business and Industry provide skill practice in current job responsibilities and issues. Lecture and discussion of theory are limited to information directly related to skill acquisition. All workshops are created to include exercises, job aids, and tools that improve job skills immediately. You may want to inquire about a specific skill to develop for yourself or your employees. Customized education is a forte. Please call Dan Nicholes at 508.929.8126 or dnicholes@worcester.edu.
Intensive English Language Institute
The Intensive English Language Institute offers both full and part time study for English language learners. Some of these students are residents of countries outside the United States and others are area residents. All seek to improve their English reading, writing, listening and speaking to a college-level performance so that they might apply for acceptance to the College or advance in their community and professional positions. Classes are available all year during the day and evening. Specialized workshops are scheduled each semester enabling students to meet their goals in a timely manner.
